Agricultural futures
WHEAT for delivery in July gained 0.5 percent to $4.34 a bushel (R2 158 a ton) on the Chicago Board of Trade yesterday afternoon.
Futures rose after the US Department of Agriculture data showed deeper-than-expected decline in US reserves at the end of of next season.
Global inventories will rise at the end of next season, mostly due to a boost in China.
Soya beans for July rose 0.4 percent at $9.73 a bushel.
Maize for same delivery month dropped 0.1 percent at $3.7 a bushel. – Bloomberg
