Prosecutor nabbed

A JOBURG PROSEcutor and his wife were arrested for alleged corruption after he apparently demanded R6 000 for two dockets to disappear, the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) said yesterday.

Hawks spokesperson, Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu, saidthe couple were arrested on Saturday.

The prosecutor apparently demanded the money from two suspects facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearms. – ANA
