Agricultural futures

WHEAT for delivery in July dropped 1 percent to $4.28 a bushel (R2 095 a ton) on the Chicago Board of Trade yesterday afternoon, extending last week’s decline.

A weekly decline of 2.2 percent was the first in three weeks.

Soya beans for July gained 0.2 percent at $9.65 a bushel.

Maize for same delivery month was down 0.3 percent at $3.70 a bushel. – Bloomberg
