Giggle at Friday Night Comedy at Gateway Hotel
GATEWAY Hotel will be hosting a terrific line-up of some of the funniest and most-loved comedians from Durban and around the country, delivering 90 minutes of non-stop entertainment.
Host for the evening is the hilarious Neville Pillay.
On tour from Cape Town is none other than comedy icon – Marc Lottering.
Catch Annalakshmi – beautiful, funny… and with the voice of an angel, her musical-comedy performance is guaranteed to have you rolling in your seat.
See her talented comedian son Kamz. Winner of the Next Generation Comedy Competition, his clean, unique style of comedy has taken Durban by storm.
Headline act is the very funny Robby Collins, on tour from Johannesburg.
This highly talented comedian was personally selected as Trevor Noah’s opening act at over 70 of his shows across the country, including his latest country-wide sold-out tour: Nation Wild.
Considered one of the most prominent faces of the new generation of South African comedians, Collins has played to some of the biggest audiences in the country with appearances at The Heavy Weight Comedy Jam, Kings and Queens of Comedy and Comedy Central Live at Parkers (as seen on TV). He earned a well-deserved nomination for breakthrough act of the year at the 2011 and 2012 Comics Choice Awards, and even received a highly coveted Emmy nomination for his writing on Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola.
His recent winning of a Standard Bank Ovation Award at the 2014 National Arts Festival for his one-man show – This Bushman’s Crazy! – is further proof that this guy is funny. Also on the line-up is Nathaniel (Johannesburg).
