Stop senseless killing of innocents

-

THE Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) is shocked at the brutal and senseless attacks on members of a mosque in the Western Cape.

We are continuing to see bloody attacks on Muslim communities in many parts of the world. Religion should bring humanity together; it cannot be a dividing force.

On behalf of its membership, the PAC sends its deepest condolences to the families of all three people who have lost their lives. We are saddened and shocked. We are also wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

The PAC condemns these barbaric attacks in the strongest possible terms, we are not going to be silent when our people are killed for either their religious views or political stance. We are instructing law enforcement agencies to apprehend offenders and punish the offender harshly.

We have always contended that Africa belongs to Africans, Africans belong to humanity, humanity belongs to God. We believe that life is a divine gift which no person or government is entitled to take. We are not going to watch murderers killing innocent people. This message should also apply to the so-called political killings, taxi unrest as well as men who are killing women.

We are urging law enforcement agencies to play their role and ensure that they bring our country to order. The country is ungovernable and governors have no idea what to do. We continue to see criminals taking over our country. This is so because there are no consequences to deal with any tendency of criminality. KENNETH MOKGATLHE PAC Spokesperson
