Twenty-one injured in 3-vehicle collision
TWENTY-ONE people, mostly children, have been injured in a threevehicle collision on Sander Road in New Germany, yesterday, emergency services said.
Rescue Care paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said: “A taxi carrying 18 schoolchildren of primary school age had ploughed into two vehicles. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist.
“A total of 21 patients had sustained various injuries and were treated on scene.” He said the events leading up to the crash were unknown.
