Why don’t we sell SA to President Trump?

-

DONALD Trump offered to buy Greenland and was cheesed off that he was rebuffed when they told him it was not for sale, so he called them “nasty” and even cancelled his visit there.

I was thinking that as the property market in South Africa is flat now (owing to our economic woes and with the land expropriation that the ANC keeps on pushing ahead full steam), our unemployment sky high and a downgrade imminent, why don’t we offer South Africa for sale, as we are in debt up to our noses, strategically placed with excellent weather for building his new hotels and lots of minerals to make more money.

The fiscus needs the money as we are in a desperate financial position and I think we can get a better deal and arrange better terms and not too many strings attached with Trump than with the bogeyman of the IMF. It’s just waiting for our SOS as we are drowning because the government is sliding backwards daily and we are at the precipice of an abyss.
