Tusk seeks to invite Ukraine to next G7
MOSCOW: European Council President Donald Tusk’s idea to invite Ukraine to the next G7 summit was nothing but an attempt to stoke Russophobia at the future meeting, proving that the bloc was not ready to abandon its anti-Moscow stance, Frants Klintsevich, a member of the Russian upper house’s defence and security committee, said.
Ahead of the G7 summit in France, Tusk said he opposed the idea of bringing Russia back to the club, pledging to invite Ukraine to the next summit in the US. |
