THE winner of a whopping R141 million last week became the third richest jackpot PowerBall winner in South Africa.

Lotto operator Ithuba confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased at a Spar in Groot Brakrivier, Cape Town. “Using a ticket wager of just R105 and a quick pick selection, the winner of R141m becomes the third richest jackpot PowerBall winner in South Africa, joining the R232m winner from February 2019, and the R145m winner from August 2018.”
