Houthi drone attack on air base foiled
SANA’A: Yemen’s Houthi rebels said they launched a pre-dawn drone attack on King Khalid Air Base in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, the group’s al-Masirah TV reported.
But the Saudi-led coalition foiled the attack. “The Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed two drones launched by the Houthi militia from Yemen’s city of Sana’a towards Saudi Arabia,” the Saudiowned Al Arabiya TV said on Twitter yesterday. Houthis have recently stepped up missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia.
