Amanda Nunes is out to fortify her legacy at UFC 250

THIS weekend, Amanda Nunes, the most successful women’s fighter in Ultimate Fighting Championsh­ip history, will seek to fortify her legacy at UFC 250 in Las Vegas. The Brazilian is aiming to become the first fighter – male or female – to successful­ly defend UFC gold in two different weight classes while holding both belts simultaneo­usly as she defends her featherwei­ght title against Felicia Spencer of Canada. The action will be broadcast live on SuperSport 1 and 11 from 4am on Sunday. This is the first time “The Lioness” will defend the featherwei­ght title she claimed at UFC 232, but it will be the seventh consecutiv­e championsh­ip bout for the dominant two-weight world champion.
