ANC unashamedly lies to the electorate

THE ANC street pole type 2024 election poster has an upper body picture of President Cyril Ramaphosa with a huge smile and the words: “Let’s do more together”.

I respectfully submit that the word “together” is a falsity implying inclusivity – a kind of spin doctoring and election ploy to attract the masses. Given three long decades of a proven track record of dismal, abysmal and non-timeous service delivery and other ruling party shenanigans and gross under performance.

I further submit that the undermentioned would be more appropriate and reflect the factual position: viz, let’s do more of the following; thieving and manipulating; lying and hoodwinking; making false and empty promises; capturing and tenderpreneuring; openly and unashamedly lining comrades’ pockets; pathetic, unacceptable and non-timeous service delivery; denying citizens basic human rights and avoiding statutory obligations; taking the electorate for a ride; squandering the hard-earned rates, taxes, charges and levies of citizens and businesses and incurring fruitless and wasteful expenditure.

So dear ANC, let the above truths of your falsehood and gross deficiencies cause you serious introspection and help you to come to your senses and liberate you.

You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

May the people of Mzansi know real freedom post the May 29, 2024, national and provincial elections, where for the first time one has to complete three ballot papers.
