Governments of India and Israel have been selfish

I WILL laugh hysterically when all this is over.

I will laugh from the Riet River to the waters on the other side of the Bluff when Hindutva and Zionist supporters hang their heads in shame as the world finally recognises that the awful, selfish paths India and Israel’s governments took were bound to lead to eventual disaster for both their very similar ideologies.

Hang the tales of the Moghuls! Their bodies disintegrated aeons ago! Myths of an imagined era. Unproven sagas.

Highlighting nothing that is genuinely useful or relevant for the present. Who cares for the shenanigans of the (Indian political parties) Congress (past present, future!) or BJP (whose demise only is a 100% certainty, among all the infinite uncertainties outlined by Heisenberg), when the original Indian Constitution that once proclaimed citizenship and equal rights to all minorities is being burnt alive in the crematorium of injustice?

The same theme for Israel. Hanging in there with their flimsy, unhistorical tales of the Exodus into never-never land. Reclassifying modern times by rewriting biblical history with a forked pen. Advertising democracy that separates races!

That prevents marriage across colour lines? That builds a fabled Utopia in the once-dry desert, but only for privileged Zionists who feel they fell from heaven?

A joke of a democracy, too, in the US which now festers away, with more and more states of disunity?

Where a few bad men rule the roost and keep the majority of the population poor? Exactly like the big boys in New Delhi. One (Indian businessman Mukesh) Ambani does not give employment to 60% of youth unemployment.

Won’t it be laughing time when all these themes finally become exposed? Laughter is the best medicine, they say (I still have to work out who exactly “they” are).

Those that feel this can never happen just need, if they are even slightly literate, to take a peek at recent history.

And have their eyes pop out without suffering minor hyperthyroidism. Where are the original Egyptians – Rameses (I, II, III, IV ... ) and Tutankhamen?
