The Mercury’s offerings never fail to pique real interest

The Mercury - - METRO -

THE Mercury does get some interesting correspondence.

I really loved SA Jazbhay’s letter of November 5, containing many elements inspiring fellow believers about Deepavali. It drew together interesting images – old Durban, (street names) light and social life (household veranda and sharing), the appearance of a tapestry of Indian mythology and religion – with a feeling of energy and hope at the end. One was left with his sense of joy and confidence that could jolt any atheist, momentarily, into suspecting the presence of an unknown, overarching, world of the spirit.

I find The Mercury full of interesting news, features and pictures. A very enjoyable read. Thank you. MONICA MATTHEWSON Via email
