NEPI SEEKS VICEROY INQUIRY

NEPI ROCKCASTLE has requested the regulators to investigat­e any market manipulati­on offences by Viceroy Research, following the publicatio­n of its damning report about the listed property company. Shares in NEPI Rockcastle slumped by 14.07 percent to close at R99.14 last Thursday, the day the report was released. Shares in NEPI Rockcastle rose 0.93 percent on the JSE yesterday to close at R108. It said that it had made a written submission to the JSE, Financial Sector Conduct Authority in South Africa and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets and Euronext Amsterdam requesting an investigat­ion into trading in NEPI Rockcastle shares in the days leading up to and immediatel­y following the publicatio­n of the Viceroy report. | Roy
