GLENLIE Furnishers have become a household name in Queenstown and surrounding towns.
Established in 1981, the home decorating business continues to go from strength to strength under the guidance of Charmaine Brown.
Charmaine started working for Glenlie in 1990 and has been working with the company for 25 years.
In 2001, she bought the business from the previous owner, Betsie de Klerk, and this year Charmaine will have been the proud owner of the thriving enterprise for 14 years.
She oversees a committed staff which comprises assistant manageress Megan Strydom, first assistant Sune Havenga, the seamstress team of Irene Brecht, Warda Sass, Rose Jacobs and Beaulah Peter, upholsterer Greg Boraine and handymen Ndimphiwe Kivit and Dicky Sass.
Glenlie Furnishers specialise in custom-made curtaining, upholstery and blinds. Glenlie has a unique variety of furniture and décor and recently introduced boutique clothing for a unique look.
“We strive to deliver excellent quality in service and goods or items which are made or ordered,” Charmaine said.
She thanked all Glenlie’s loyal customers for their support throughout the years.
“We hope to continue building on and creating new friendships in the future. After all – our customers are considered family!”
She also thanked the ‘wonderful’ staff of Glenlie for their hard work. “Without your dedication to the job, we would not be here.”
