Victory and defeat for Stutt hockey squads

– On Sunday, both the men’s and ladies’ A hockey sides played in King William’s Town. The women won 3-1 against Africans. The goal scorers for Stutt were Fiona Kleinhans, Kim Grenfell and Julie-Ann Cawthorn. The men lost 1-3 to Nkonkobe. Morne Ristow scored Stutt’s only goal.

The B division was won by Mike Galloway on 38 points with Ett Potgieter second on 35 and the C division was won by Matt Cotterrell with 37 from Barrie Wardle on 35. The ladies’ winners were Karen Hart in the A division and Sally Jane Purdon in the B division with Jaco Rossouw and Mark Cockin each having a two club. The winners of each division will play in the regional playoffs in August.
