- By Tembile Sgqolana

THE Ezibeleni Basketball Association (EBA) will host a closed tournament at the Ezibeleni park at 10am tomorrow.

EBA conducts basketball training for pupils from Ezibeleni, Mlungisi, Engcobo and Cofimvaba. Founders Sandiso Nobula and Chumani Msindwana said clubs from East London and Molteno were also expected to compete.

“We are working with the department of sport, recreation, arts and culture to organise the tournament and we hope it will be a success.”

Msindwana urged local support for the event.

“We will have entertainment where local groups perform for the fans. There is no entrance fee.”

He said the EBA was registered as a non- profit organisation. “We invite sponsors and people to support our initiative. We want to promote and develop basketball in the region.”
