Credit Rescue here to help Beat debt demands with mediation

National debt rehabilitation company now in Komani

-

CREDIT Rescue has opened its doors at 3 Tylden Street in Komani and as one of South Africa’s largest debt rehabilitation companies, it will aim to assist people in need of debt assistance in the area and surrounds.

The Komani office of Credit Rescue is led by branch manager Rene Andries who is ably assisted by three agents.

Credit Rescue has been in existence for 17 years and has a national footprint of branches in every province in South Africa.

It offers a holistic debt rehabilitation program with the distribution done by a government appointed distribution agency.

Credit Rescue also provides an advisory and management service in assisting clients who are over-indebted and those who are experiencing financial problems.

“South Africa’s economic climate is experiencing an all-time low where consumers are overly indebted and can not service their debt. We have seen this as an opportunity to rehabilitate and educate our clients on to a path of creditworthiness.”

Debt mediation benefits include the informal restructuring of debt, including the enhancement of affordability, payment of only one instalment monthly, no summons or garnishees or blacklisting from attorneys, no more repossessions and clients will not be placed under administration. Clients will remain creditworthy with the debt mediation – not a debt review programme.

Ändries said other benefits included no more disturbing phone calls with clients able to take home more money without harassment by debt collectors, call centres and lawyers.

The debt review process – or formal restructuring of debt – has the benefit that creditors will no longer harass clients with Credit Rescue protecting them from further legal action.

“No summons may be issued, no judgment taken nor repossession of assets exercised.”

One affordable instalment for all debt is organised with all payments and distributions done by an accredited payment distribution agency (Finwise/DC Partners).

Other services offered by Credit Rescue include administration removal, debt review removal and garnishee removal, the latter which includes removing all defective garnishees from payslips and credit profiles and the recovery of monies that were deducted illegally using a defective garnishee (which involves jurisdiction, overpayment, reckless lending, a credit provider not registered with the NCR, a garnishee order that does not appear on the ITC and fraudulent signatures).

Credit Rescue will also attempt to have your debt written off.

The family protection plan offered by Credit Rescue includes funeral and accident cover, no medical or six-month waiting period and in the event of accidental death, cover will be doubled, meat and grocery vouchers valued at R2500 and repatriation of mortal remains with costs capped at R10 000. Other benefits include legal services, discounted vouchers and medical transport including lifesaving advice, a medical hotline and a trauma

support line.

The rewards programme of Credit Rescue provides for clients who take advantage of the debt mediation and debt review programme to get a family protection plan free for as long as they are on the programme at a cost of R89 per month.

So why should you use Credit Rescue? It implements a debt mediation programme that includes the restructuring and payment of total debt, one convenient payment from clients towards a total debt amount, signed power of attorney and a debit order deduction direct from the client’s bank account.

“Our experience has taught us that distressed clients use our facilities for about a year and once rehabilitated, are in a position to negotiate with their creditors in their personal capacity.”

All consultations are confidential and no upfront fees are charged. Credit Rescue also assist pensioners (Sassa), taxi drivers and domestic workers.

“We pride ourselves on the values of professionalism (our clients undergo our consultation process in a discreet manner), helping hands by assuring our debt stressed clients, education of consumers in attaining financial wellness and caring for the communities served.
