The Rep

Please fix the lights Livingstone Road residents of Komani write:

We write this letter to The Rep as our last hope. It is about the streetlights in Livingstone Road. It is about three years now that there are no street lights from the bridge at the hospital straight down to the four-way stop street where you turn to go to Bonkolo Dam. We phone and ask and write to the municipality but with no response. On Friday at about 7.15pm, there was a robbery at knifepoint on the railway bridge because it is pitch black.

We want to ask if you can not find out about this problem and why the municipality does not come and look what the problem is and fix it. We can not go on and live in fear. This is a very dangerous street to live in and with the railway bridge near it, it has made it even worse.

You are our last hope to sort out something and to try and find the answers.
