Britain’s action against the Gupta’s justified
The action taken by the British government to ban the Gupta brothers from their soil is commendable and in the best interests of this country.
The British parliamentarian, Peter Hain, born in SA, has influenced their parliament to have them kicked out and their assets frozen. It is reported that they have laundered their stolen loot throughout the globe.
Hain has informed the South African press that the British government is lobbying Dubai, Hong Kong and India to invoke the same action against the brothers since they are laundering money there too.
We hope this action will close the laundering of stolen SA money and have it returned.
Billions from the fiscus have been embezzled by these brothers, according to Hain, through collaboration with certain high ranking politicians, civil servants and government officials. Hopefully the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into state capture will expose these perpetrators and make a recommendation they be criminally charged and relieved of their corrupt assets.
The economy of this country is in dire straits and needs revival.
The security forces must work diligently with foreign countries to close the looting tap by these villains.
There is hope that some of SA’s stolen assets will be returned with the cooperation of the British government.
If this money is brought back it will assist tremendously in the resurgence of the economy to prop up the ailing SOEs, fight the Covid-19 pandemic, create jobs and employment, rebuild the infrastructure and avail money for the free education our children are clamouring for.
