Q AWhat do you like about what you do?

What I like about being an entreprene­ur is that you have to be patient with people and you must believe in yourself.

What I also love is my job connects me with different people because I meet new people who love fashion.

Q: What is the most important thing you have learnt in your career?

A: The most important thing is to be there for yourself. Do not be too hard on yourself.

Just do what you can, one step at a time. If it is draining, take a break, but do not quit.

Q: Where did you study?

A: I studied business management at Ikhala TVet College.

Q: What is your motivation in life?

A: Do not quit, just take a break and then come back with new ideas.

Q: What is your take on gender equality in the workplace?

A: Gender equality is very important in a work environmen­t. It builds relationsh­ips and effective production.

Q: What are your plans for the next five years?

A: In five years I want to own a big shop and have more than 30 workers so that I can save people from living under poverty.

Q: What do you do in your spare time and why?

A: I listen to music or travel to places so that I can see what other people do in life.

Q: What is your favourite book?

A: Rise Ntombam by Babalwa Mbuku.
