Social club to hold its first Imbizo, elect committee

The Komani Brentwood social club, which was founded on August 6 by Dan Simons, will be hosting its first Imbizo on Saturday at Jazz Town Club at 2pm.

The social club is a non-profit organisation aimed at helping struggling families through donations and initiatives in the form of a soup kitchen. The club currently has 40 members and hopes to expand in the near future.

“We know there are many people who are unemployed. We would like the club to grow bigger and better so we can try and supply schools with sanitary towels for girls, and we say no to gender-based violence,”said Simons.

A leadership committee is scheduled to be elected, and all members and those interested in joining can contact Simons on 063-282-1507.
