Safa Chris Hani Regional League kicks off
The Safa Chris Hani Regional League kicked off last weekend with a slew of matches spread across the district and five local municipalities.
The league is made up of three streams for now which are based in five local municipalities. Stream A is based in Emalahleni and Sakhisizwe while Stream B is based in AB Xuma and Intsika Yethu Local municipalities. Enoch Mgijima has been subdivided into two and they have Stream C1 and Stream C2. Stream C2 is made up of teams based in Komani town, Mlungisi, Linge, Ezibeleni and Machibini while Stream C1 is made of teams from Molteno, Tarkastad, Rocklands, Thornhill, Sada and Dongwe.
Results from last weekend are:
Stream A: Noshumi United 3-3 SB Mountain Shadow; Green Lovers FC 0-13 Mountain Shadow; FC Bhongweni 3-5 Xalanga Celtics; Young Brazilians FC 62 Seven Stars; Glamour FC 3-0 Abanqobi (Walkover).
Stream B: Tsazo Arsenal 0-1 Amarasta United; Lucky Star 2-2 Ngcobo Royals; Young Stars 2-3 Young Lions; Greenlovers Soccer Club 1-2 Young Tigers.
Stream C1: MK Academy 3-0 12 Aces (walkover); Tarkastad Fast Eleven 1-2 Golden Chiefs; Amathole 1-2 Rocklands Swallows; Apolo Chiefs 3-0 Juventus FC (Walkover).
Stream C2: AFC Komani Stars 1-3 Soul Buddies; Valgas FC 2-1 Saints FC; Roman Callies 1-0 Young Minds; Linge Aces FC 0-2 Holy Kings FC.
The league will continue until the week of December 10 after which they go to the festive break and resume in January next year.

Stream C1: Saturday, 1pm, Apolo Chiefs VS MK Academy, Sandringham sports field, 3pm Golden Chiefs vs Rocklands Swallows, Tendergate Village.
