Komani motocross event proves popular

Round six of the Motocross Wetherd Series took place in a weekend jam-packed with activity at the Bonkolo Dam. The final will be held in East London on December 17.

Riders hailed from different corners of the province including East London and Port Alfred. A total of 42 riders for the day came to Komani, a wonderful turnout.

The results were:

50cc Novice: 1. Bradley McDonald, 2. Cayden Claasen, 3. Jack Stone.

50cc Pro: 1. Riley Geldenhuiz, 2. Aden Fisher, 3. Mason Barnes.

65cc: 1. Connor Johnston, 2. Connor Rawlins, 3. Ashton Rawlins.

Enduro: 1. Gary Goldsmit, 2. Brett Stone, 3. Mike Lemmer.

C Stream: 1. Jaco Strydom,

2. Jason Brown, 3. Jayden Holtzhuize­n.

B Stream: 1. Seth Whittingto­n.

A Stream: 1. Bruce Romans,

2. Jonno Webster.

ABC: 1. Bruce Romans, 2 Jonno Webster, 3. Seth Whittingto­n.

The organisers thanked all the businesses that assisted in getting the track and the venue ready for the event.
