All roads will lead to the Hangklip Sports Fields tomorrow for the inaugural Komani Community Sports Day, where a hive of activity amid a carnival atmosphere is on the cards.

Rugby Nines will be in action, which will include seniors, veterans and Under 20 sections.

There will also be Dads vs Lads tag rugby and the girls and women will step out on the courts in the netball section.

In addition to the action, food stalls will be available to keep fans and participants fed.

Big prize money is at stake for the participating teams, with the winners of the senior section pocketing R25,000, and the second-place winners taking home R15,000.

The veterans winners will pocket R3,000.

The registration fee is R3,000 for the seniors, R500 for the vets and R250 for the U20s.

It is the perfect opportunity for teams to stretch their muscles before the festive period.

Some of the proceeds will go towards Hangklip’s revamp of its hostel facilities.

Komani fans can expect plenty of electrifying action.
