COMMUNITY KILLS ALLEGED GANGSTER

AN ALLEGED gang member was killed and several others admitted to hospital after they were believed to have been beaten up by community members in Boitumelong, near Bloemhof, in the North West.

North West police said a 27-yearold man died in hospital after he was beaten up, while five others were seriously injured and transferred to Tshepong Hospital in Klerksdorp.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Amanda Funani said people in the neighbourhood barricaded roads on Wednesday, complaining about gangsterism.
