SHOW
THE James Hall Museum of Transport which restores, preserves, and promotes the history of land transport in South Africa will on Sunday, in conjunction with the Final Few Motorcycle Club, host a show of vintage cars and bikes to reflect South Africa’s automotive heritage. The event will have exhibitions, cars shows, free bus rides, guided tours, mini-train rides, food stalls, arts and crafts.
Vintage cars and bike clubs will be invited to show their private collections to the public.
Other invited stakeholders include the SA Vintage and Veterans Association, Gauteng Tourism Authority and Joburg Tourism.
The museum will also use this platform to unveil a completely restored red Alfa Romeo, a 1952 London bus, AEC Regent bus, and Sentinel steam wagon as part of the James Hall Museum of Transport friends grant-in aid project.
This is a family fun day and visitors will have the opportunity to experience and ride on these newly restored vehicles.
The museum is in Pioneer Park in Rosettenville Road, Joburg.
