TESTIMONY D-DAY FOR KAVANAUGH ACCUSER

-

THE US Senate on Wednesday gave the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, pictured, of sexually assaulting her two days to decide whether she would give testimony at a hearing next week.

In a letter to Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers, the chairperson of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley, said that Ford must respond by 10am (2pm GMT) today to an invitation to testify at a hearing on Monday.

“I sincerely hope that Dr Ford will accept my invitation to do so, either publicly or privately,” Grassley wrote.
