Effort to make reserve safer
SURVEILLANCE cameras – with other security measures already implemented – are being considered at Burman Bush Nature Reserve in Morningside, KwaZulu-Natal, after a spate of crime and the murder of musician Simon Milliken last month.
The head of parks, recreation and culture, Thembinkosi Ngcobo, said: “There is a possibility of adding surveillance cameras to ensure that even the parts that are usually used by members of the public can be seen.”
