MEL C “led the charge” for the Spice Girls reunion, after she was initially unsure about getting the band back together.
The Wannabe girl group announced a comeback tour – and that it has been in the pipeline for a long time.
Geri Horner said: “There was always that feeling on and off in the last seven years. Then, finally about six months ago… Mel C wasn’t sure. Melanie B and Emma Bunton always wanted to do it. Then suddenly it was like the match was lit and Mel C led the charge.”
However, Mel B said she’d been calling for a reunion for a very long time.
Victoria Beckham won’t be part of it. The girls will earn over $3 million (R42m) each for their six-date stadium tour next summer. | Bang Showbiz
