A stamp of disapproval
SO THE postal workers are going back to work. One has to wonder why they bother, because work is not what they do.
In the last three years I’ve not received a card or gift posted overseas.
A parcel, posted in Denmark, never arrived. The clerk told me it was returned to the sender because I didn’t collect it, but I received no collection slip. My bank made me pay for it despite the fact that the Danish company didn’t receive the parcel supposedly returned to it.
So we have a thief at our post office.
Strikers who damaged post offices should be frogmarched to jail and never again employed by the Post Office.
And mail is often delivered to the wrong box, especially at complexes where several boxes are lumped together.
Why would anyone want to use the Post Office when we can use PostNet, send e-cards, talk to each other on Skype or send Facebook messages?
The Post Office is past its sell-by date. Twenty years has seen a decline in the service and the safety of mail.
