ESKOM maintains it has enough capacity at its power stations despite the ongoing strike in the coal mines. The utility said it was not expecting any power cuts today because it had reserves for more than a month. It said it had been able to conduct maintenance at the power stations now for two months without having to resort to load shedding. “Customers can do their bit by practising energy efficiency during the day.“– Staff Reporter
