Boyfriend sought over murders

POLICE have launched a manhunt for the suspected killer of a young mother and her young daughter, North West police said yesterday. Galaletsan­g Sebopelo, 24, and her daughter Tlhalefo Sebopelo, 2, where found dead at Mmatlhako 1 village in Pudimoe on Saturday morning, Captain Paul Ramaloko said. According to reports, the two were last seen with Sebopelo’s boyfriend and father of Tlhalefo on Friday night at a relative’s house. “It is alleged that the next day, the boyfriend’s mother got worried when the two did not come to visit her and she went over to the relative’s home. When she got there, she found the two bodies with blood and stab wounds. The mother called the police. Police recovered a knife believed to be the murder weapon under a pillow,” Ramaloko said.
