An app for what?

WHAT will the boffins think of next? Apparently there’s a new app to prevent women from looking weaker than they actually are by preventing them from shooting themselves in the foot by e-mail.

The new app is designed, much like a spellchecker, to alert you every time you use the words “I’m sorry” or “I’m no expert” as these phrases automatically make the writer appear less authoritative than their male colleagues, when all they’re trying to do is appear more likeable.

Researchers found that when women removed the qualifiers, they received answers to their e-mail queries far more quickly and with greater substance.

Now all the boffins have to do is find an app to stop men sexting when they’ve had too much to drink – or anytime actually!
