BRYAN Adams will return to South Africa in December and the good news for local fans is he is scheduled to perform at the Durban ICC for one night only.

Big Concerts has confirmed the Summer of 69 singer will rock the ICC “performing all his hits” on December 12.

Adams is embarking on a global tour following the release of his 13th studio album Get Up!

“We had a ball making this record,” Adams says of his latest recording, for which the Canadian star was reunited with original songwriting collaborator, Jim Vallance and newly connected to producer Jeff Lynne. Vallance was Adams’s co-writer on some of the smash hits of his career: Cuts Like a Knife; Somebody; Summer of 69; Heaven and Run To You, among many others. Adams has spent the last three decades making music, toured six continents and sold more than 65 million records. His status in the industry is backed up by a Grammy Award for Everything

I Do, 18 Juno Awards and an American Music Award.

He has also been nominated for three Academy Awards and five Golden Globes.
