Robotics 6 over moon
KABUL: Six members of Afghanistan’s all-girls robotics team have arrived at the Kabul airport, heading to the US Embassy with their passports to get documentation for entry into the US.
They were accompanied by their manager, Alireza Mehraban. At the airport, workers and passengers wondered at the media attention the girls were receiving, unaware of their identities. Lida Azizi, 15, a team member, was excited at the prospect of travelling to the competition. “This is such an important trip for us.”
