How can they get away with ‘illegal’ listing?

- Nicholas Zwane

I WOULD like to ask for assistance with a Lifestyle Legal listing for services that I have never taken.

I have noted on the web that I am not the only person with this conundrum.

I have complained to the Law Society of Cape Town and the Law Society of South Africa as the umbrella body so that they are made aware of this because it’s deplorable that officers of the court are getting away with this.

There are thousands and thousands of South Africans who are affected by this. I disputed the listing with the credit bureau, which isn’t able to resolve my matter.

Their consultant told me they take the word of the “credit provider”.

I have been listed now and my credit record has been tarnished. I worked hard since I got a promotion to try to fix my credit record and now I am faced with this.
