SINGER, writer and actress Céline is the latest new artist to look out for. The young talent, Congo-born and South Africa-raised, released her single Fancy Love recently.

This single follows her previous number, Dare You To Move, which was playlisted on numerous stations in South Africa. Fancy Love, which is about stripping away appearances in a relationship and celebrating the true essence of a romantic connection, is written by Céline. She spoke to The Star about her tech knowledge:

It’s a virtual social space where you have access to what people choose to display about their lives.

As an avid lover of film and TV, I will watch my favourite women-led masterpieces, and discover more hidden gems.

It generally depends on the platform, but I love humorous interactions, and love to encourage artistic strides people are making. Since many of my followers are friends, acquaintances and colleagues, I love supporting them, as they have supported me. With those I haven’t met in person, I express my gratitude for their support and ask questions on my Instagram stories to increase the personal interaction I have with them.

This has changed as I’ve grown and matured. I used to get worked up, particularly on Twitter. I see no reason to engage with trolls and lend any energy to them.

It’s definitely made my music more accessible. I can now distribute my music to almost any platform.

I’m using a Samsung. I love that it’s consistent and has stood the test of time. We’ve been together almost three years now.
