general society in a democracy assure themselves that sin is right. The aim is to discourage evangelists from spreading the good news (for Christianity's sake only) and speaking out against what is not in line with the Bible.

Busi Mkhwebane is caught up in this chakalaka of ideologies ruling South Africa and the spirit of anti-Christianity currently in charge. We do not have a crisis of fake pastors and churches, but the emergence of ancestral spirits in every part of society and all the churches.

WHEN we see, in our civilised society, the unabated incident of innocent killings, cruel raping and domestic violence against the women, we feel ashamed – without hesitation it can be viewed such an act which is not human in man, but animal in man.

The egregious gender-based violations have caused a great deal of hurdles for the smooth function of fair society that need to be dealt seriously.

The campaign is loud to empower women but what is happening is something different. On many occasions women have been passing through an insecure and fearful phase in their lives which portray a petrifying picture their surroundings.

It is common practice to flout female dignity in almost every field and occupation. They have to endure physical, mental and emotional torture. There is untold misery that demands a deterring force to emancipate women from exploitation.

An excessive abuse and constant atrocities put victims in a position of frustration, so they become pessimistic and, in some cases, they succumb to suicide. This is a great shame and social stigma. It is an imperative to save women from insecure environments and provide sympathetic support and confidence in order to re-establish normal happy lives.

What an embarrassing moment women have to confront in their lives! For financial advantage, they have to select a humiliating path where they have no social status, but their life and health come under risk. How can we ignore this?

When people fail to give respect, honour and dignity to the women, then human society structures can collapse. The real architects of society are women.
