Baroka and Chiefs share the spoils

BAROKA FC held fellow strugglers Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-1 draw in their DStv Premiership encounter at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane yesterday.

Lebogang Manyama opened the scoring for Chiefs in the 58th minute, while Evidence Makgopa equalised for the home side in the 81st.

Baroka are 11th in the 16-team championship with 24 points from 22 matches, while Amakhosi are ninth with 25 points from 21 outings.

Bakgakga are next in action on Tuesday when they travel to face Chippa United in the Premiership (3pm kick-off)).

Chiefs host Cape Town City in a league match the following day (5pm).
