Malema has his eye firmly set on presidency

- | Mogale City

IMAGINE South Africa under the presidency of Julius Sello Malema.

How would the country be under his leadership? Malema is a dictator. No doubt, the country will be under a dictatorship.

It is an open secret that the EFF leader has an ambition of becoming the South African president.

And he will do anything or everything to realise his ambitious dream.

Juju is a clever and shrewd politician – and he has been in this game for a long time.

He is also charismatic and speaks his mind unapologetically.

As a result, he appeals to the youth. Over the years, Malema targeted ANC presidents (particularly Jacob Zuma and now Cyril Ramaphosa).

So, at every given opportunity, he doesn’t miss an opportunity to criticise and discredit them.

On Saturday last week, the EFF held the party’s Siyabonga rally in KwaZulu-Natal.

The party said it held the rally to thank its voters in that province.

It is clear that the EFF is intending to increase its voter support in KZN.

During his address at the Siyabonga rally, the EFF leader said a whole lot of things.

He spoke very lengthy and was unscripted, as always.

One of the things he said was that the EFF did not vote for the DA in the last and recent local government elections. It just did not vote for the ANC, he said, justifying the party’s move in voting the DA into power in certain metros.

But one other thing that he said – and it caught my attention – was that Cyril Ramaphosa will not see a second term, as the country’s president. He will make sure of that. How? I don’t know.

The above suggests that Juju is working towards realising his presidential dream.

Whether he will realise his ambition or not remains unknown.

Dismiss Malema at your own peril. THABILE MANGE
