Minnie to host Polo in the Park
POPULAR media personality Minenhle Dlamini, fondly known as Minnie, will be hosting Africa’s signature Standard Bank Joburg Polo in the Park lifestyle event on April 30 at the premium residential lifestyle estate, Steyn City, Gauteng.
After a two-year hiatus the event is back, bringing thrills and magnificence to those who wish to be part of the spectacular experience.
With this event attendees can look forward to polo and a programme of luxury lifestyle.
The inaugural Standard Bank Joburg Polo in the Park was hosted in 2019 and it had dazzling guests with fabulous fashion, good music and delectable gourmet meals and beverages.
This prestigious event offers an elegant way to enjoy the sport of kings and is set to capture the imagination of equestrian lovers in grand style.
Founder of the ADC Sandile Dlamini said they are thrilled to bring back this event after a two-year drawback.
“We have created an event that speaks to the high expectations of players and spectators alike.
“We are especially excited to bring polo fans back together again after the uncontrolled two-year hiatus,.
“Polo is the sport of kings. Any event celebrating this sport must reflect this.
“To ensure the Polo in the Park upholds its regal upstanding image, we have benchmarked this event against internationally respected polo tournaments.
“The result is a spectacular occasion marked by glamour and luxury offering dynamic, networking opportunities, classy live entertainment, and of course, the excitement of this fast-paced format.
“All these elements come together to create an unforgettable experience for all who attend,” said Dlamini.
He added that although the event was put on hold last year due to Covid-19, he expected much more support from the government to compensate the event industry for their losses during the lockdown.
“The hospitality and event industry received some to zero support from the government during the lockdown; well I have nothing to show that I have survived.
“We are to thank our partners for partnering with us to host our second annual event,” said Dlamini.
