COMPETITORS climb the Rosablanche peak, which is 3 191m at the highest point crossed, during the 22nd Glacier Patrol race in the mountains between Zermatt and Verbier, Switzerland, yesterday. The Glacier Patrol, organised by the Swiss Army, takes highly experienced hiker-skiers over a distance of 57.5km on the Haute Route along the SwissItalian border from Zermatt to Verbier.
