#WhatsappGB trended on Twitter. The app (GBWhatsapp) has more features, including the ability to view deleted messages.

Good morning to everyone except for people who use WhatsAppGB. WhatsApp GB is for depressed people who can’t let go of things, including our deleted statuses. You all need healing. @MandzNotHot
I hate WhatsAppGB. The fact that it completely erases all boundaries I try to create bothers me.
@MhlabaNkululeko
I hate that WhatsApp is doing nothing about that thing. It’s very evasive and as soon as I see someone using it, I delete their number on my phone.
@Nomazethu
I love it for reinforcing my boundaries. I can literally switch WA off without turning off my wi-fi. It has hidden work groups. I receive no texts and I don’t see it at all.

I use WhatsAppGB to avoid people who want to have long chats/ conversations. Once I see you online, I am out. It’s not about being evasive. Some people you can’t block because they are family members, so it’s better to leave the room when I see you are online.
@DaMystroh
WhatsApp gives all your information to its companies and sells it to third parties yet you complain about the friend who’s using WhatsAppGB for reading a status you erased.
@Anathy_buddha
People don’t understand it. The first mistake is calling WhatsAppGB. This app does not cross any boundaries. It, however, protects the user by limiting others’ control over their phone. Why should you be able to delete things on my phone? Whose phone is this? @BaloyiAuby
I use WhatsAppGB and I do not care what you think of me. You have the option to ignore people who send you messages on WhatsApp, exercise it.
@KabzaMolz
It essentially suggests that you know you wouldn’t be able to access people like that with their knowledge. So, you found ways to enter spaces they don’t want you in without their knowledge while they’re chilling thinking you’re restricted. What’s confusing?
