ANC convenor in the Eastern Cape Oscar Mabuyane called for all factions to stop operating after the election of new leaders yesterday.

Mabuyane told ANC delegates at the provincial conference on Saturday that when lobby groups for leaders campaigning for party positions continued to operate after the conference they became factions, and factions posed the danger of dividing the ANC.
