It is extremely painful, triggering and infuriating as a South African to watch what is happening to our young girls at Parklands.
Our country’s future is being prostituted and fed drugs by old men. Nobody gives a f**k because it’s predominantly Black girls.

These girls throw themselves at these Nigerians. Just take a walk along Parklands main drive in the afternoon and see how these girls also target these Nigerian guys. You can’t approach them as an SA guy unless you have R1 500.

This is not prostitution though. It’s rape, these are minors being taken advantage of by old men. There’s no law that permits old men to rape minors. It’s easy to blame kids than to hold old men accountable.

I used to stay in Parklands. You can’t even walk peacefully as a girl there, there will always be someone trying to get your number. And their problem is that they are not used to NO, so they either get passiveaggressive or follow you. I hated it there.

Wow this is heartbreaking, the fact that it is happening everywhere too is also crazy. We can’t blame the kids coz they are young, the men that sleep with them are 2 blame. I also blame parents that allow their kids to be out at parties (groove) without a curfew.

How do you even approach a 15-year-old for sex? Some South African men are in their feelings that they also cannot exploit these kids because they don’t have money. What type of thinking is this. How did we get here as a society?

Parklands and Sandton are the same s**t and it’s always the township girls/ladies that fall victim to such tragedies. These girls don’t even understand some of the things being done to them, condoms will not even help them from the spiritual damage.

We have a new generation of 15-year-olds who sit on social media and watch things that are happening and aspire to do these things. Parental control is lacking. Government removing the right to give them a good spanking is worsening this 2000 generation.

Parklands is really disgusting. The way people talk to women there is just out of this world. Sadly, most SA gents have also become conditioned and are predatory in their approach too. It’s a shame, that had the making of a nice black middle-class neighbourhood.
