Kaizer Chiefs must go all out and look for a new coach who knows how to manage the game and has a philosophy. Arthur Zwane is good at developing players so he must be demoted to MDC because the first team is too much for him.

Arthur Zwane is capable of using his long stay at the club as a player and reserve league coach to sabotage the senior coach position for personal gain. I believe this was also the case when Ernst Middendorp failed to win the league after a comfortable 13-points lead at the top.

I don’t wish for Kaizer Chiefs to axe Arthur Zwane. Let’s give him ample time. But if they decide to let go of him, I think there are no better men than Farouk Khan and Muhsin Ertugral for the rebuilding process. No current coach knows Chiefs better than these two gentlemen.

Arthur Zwane should have been given the assistant coach role first. He’s got the basics and it’s clear he knows his football, but getting the best out of the players isn’t his forte. He’s not there yet.

As Kaizer Chiefs fans, let’s rally behind Arthur Zwane and the team as I believe in them. Finding the right combination is difficult and takes time. Fixing Baxter and Middendorp’s defensive philosophy of play is difficult. I’ve noticed Zwane’s philosophy of playing.

The theory of troubleshooting says that if you change one or two components and your problem is not solved, should you continue changing the same components then it means that you are now also part of the problem. Arthur Zwane is not the problem at Chiefs.

Was it not the Chiefs fans who wanted Arthur Zwane to be the coach of Kaizer Chiefs? I still remember clearly when they were saying before and after the CAF Champions League final that Zwane, and no one else, should be given the job.
