Forest dweller kidnaps boy

A 10-YEAR-OLD boy was kidnapped in a plantation forest at the Khothana Village in Nqamakwe, Eastern Cape, police said yesterday. Mesuli Mtebhele and his 11-year-old friend Athi Cekiso were herding sheep when a man approached them on Sunday afternoon, Captain Jackson Manatha said. “He emerged from the trees with a dagger and chased the boys. Cekiso outran him but Mtebhele was caught by the man. A case of kidnapping is under investigation and a missingperson profile has been opened.” – Sapa
