Fatal seizure after hit by tennis ball

A MAN drowned after suffering an epileptic seizure while swimming at Kabeljous Beach in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape, the National Sea Rescue Institute said yesterday. Spokesman Craig Lambinon said the seizure occurred when the 29-year-old East London man was hit on the head by a tennis ball thrown by one of his friends. He was rescued by lifeguards but died shortly afterwards. – Sapa
